Our Profile

KeyCareer was founded by practitioners with deep executive search experience throughout Asia.

KeyCareer consultants build and maintain close partnerships with clients to fully understand their business, the markets in which they compete, their organizational structure, and the chemistry required to succeed within their environment. Our consultants and researchers have a mix of professional search experience and industry expertise, and are organized into specific practice and functional teams.


Our Process

Our robust process is comprised of the following steps:

1)  Engaging in an open dialogue with the client, we understand better the client’s organization, work culture and specific requirements of the position to be filled

2)  Next, we draft a detailed set of position & candidate specifications, which provides a common understanding of the requirements among our client, our firm, and prospective candidates.

3)  We conduct a preliminary market research and develop a list of target companies from selected industries, which are likely to provide prospective candidates.

4)  As we proceed deeper into research work, we develop a list of potential candidates from the target companies.

5)  We reach out to all prospective candidates, and appraise each against the position & candidate specifications.

6)  Through in-depth interview sessions, we qualify each candidate’s suitability for the position. Going beyond just academic qualifications and work experience, we identify the primary motivation(s) of candidates accepting a change.

7)  Following, we prepare a final shortlist of candidates. A detailed, confidential report on each selected candidate will be prepared for the client prior to the arrangement of interviews.

8)  Facilitating client/candidate interviews (often cross-border), frequently involving videoconferencing in addition to direct meetings.

9)  In most cases, we participate actively in compensation negotiations with final candidates(s) as appropriate.

10)  Before our client makes a formal offer to the selected candidate, we perform a comprehensive reference check to ensure full transparency.

11)  It is our practice to follow-up and keep in touch with the client and the successful candidate(s) upon commencement of employment, in order to ensure a smooth transition.
